the trailer doesn't offer much by way of extended images, but it's still enough to make--no, KEEP--me excited!
i'm pretty impressed that they not only kept it in the original time period, but made that a significant element... i was certain that would be changed or at least downplayed.
Come to think of it, I'm a little surprised they didn't modify that cover artwork more than they did. Supergirl, Speedy, Black Canary, and the Metal Men don't appear in the "New Frontier" story at all, and only show up in cameos in the closing pages of the book (including this image). And did Billy Batson ever appear as Captain Marvel?

Nope. But you won't hear me complaining.
I feel we didn't get enough Billy or Adam Strange out of the JLU series; so the more Adam, Barry, Billy and Hal we get... the better.
Speaking of JLU, I read the back of the Cover of the New Frontier 2-Disc DVD set; and they are basically giving you 3 JLU episodes as "extras". So if you already own that series, it may be worth your while to do a little homework before chosing which set to buy.
Billy Batson had a dinner with Dr. Fate, Spectre, Phantom Stranger and Zantana in which the mystic heavies decided not to get involved in the big fight. All cameos …

This looks really good. I wish we could have heard more voicework, but I still like what I've seen.

Looks cool, but (and I'll admit I haven't read New Frontier) do a gorilla and some pterodactyls really count as the "ultimate evil"?
