		<description>Wow, I usually disagree with this writer, but especially so in this case.  This is definitely a manga that the American market needs.  The Japanese market is so broad and extensive that this sort of book is not out of the ordinary; why not add some of that diversity to the US catalogue?  Not every book has to be a stereotypical example of shonen or shojo teen-targeted formula.  Publishers can strive to get some sort of audience outside of what is already there; it&#039;s okay to publish something that teens might &lt;i&gt;not&lt;/i&gt; be interested in.  And you&#039;re also wrong about the market making room for it; according to &lt;a href=&quot;http://precur.wordpress.com/2007/12/28/the-year-that-was/&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;this post&lt;/a&gt; at David Welsh&#039;s blog, it&#039;s actually selling quite well, and to an audience outside of regular manga readers.
