The Spider-Marriage…YouTube style!
Enjoy!
First off, here is the live marriage they had at Shea Stadium when Peter and Mary Jane were married in the comics in 1987.
Next, here is their wedding on the 90s animated series…
Here is a tribute to Peter and Mary Jane called “Peter Parker Loves Mary Jane”….
Be forewarned, it is set to Celine Dion!
Finally, here is a cutesy tribute to the couple, as well, this time set to the Lisa Loeb tune “Stay.”
I am sure plenty of fans echo the sentiment of that song title!

Didn’t Lisa Loeb voice Mary Jane on the MTV Spidey show?

With Niel Patrick Harris, who’s on How I Met Your Mother with Alyson Hannigan, who was on Buffy with Sarah Michelle Geller, who was in Scoobie Do with Matthew Lilard who was in Scream with Neve Campbell, who was in Wild Things with… KEVIN BACON!

I’d never have thought Spider-Man could have been within 7 steps from Kevin Bacon. That’s great!

I know there are closer ties, but I’m at work, and that’s the best I could think of without hitting IMDB.com
As for the videos, I didn’t realize they got married on the cartoon too! Are they out on dvd?

I am listening to Lisa Loeb right now and seeing her a week from today. I totally forgot that she voiced MJ!

@joshschr:
They’ve released some of the cartoons on DVD, to coincide with various Marvel movie releases, but no, there is not a formal DVD release for the Spiderman or X-Men series.

Thanks Adam. I recall seeing a Venom collection and maybe a DD too, but I would love to watch the whole series. I own most of the DC animated series and watch them with my daughter often. Spider-Man would be great to watch with her too.
And I see now that I was a little vague in my post. I was talking about the Fox series that followed the comic books, not the MTV series, which is out on DVD. It’s okay, but couldn’t use most of the classic villains, so it’s missing something.

He didn’t really get married to MJ in the 90s cartoon, didn’t it turn out to be a hydro clone or something while the real MJ was still trapped in her wormhole?

Next to the Mets late season collapse against the Cardinals, that’s the worst thing that happened at Shea that season.

Hey! I am the guy who did the Celine Dion one! Thanks for posting it!
Alot of fans don’t like Celine Dion but I figured the song was perfect for the period in their relationship I was portraying. Thanks for the linkage and I am a faithful reader of this blog!

Can’t wait to see how ItsJustSomeRandomGuy deals with OMD/BND.
Funny thing is, I think he just did a time travel arc.
