I didn’t watch all of it…I tried but Joe Q makes me uncomfortable to watch, not as a person, but its like watching my favorite uncle being put on the spot, and out of his element. He seemed so awkward, I couldn’t watch it.

I don’t think anyone normal [i.e., doesn't overpay for 32 page pamphlets of overused characters, no offense] *really* cares about OMD. I mean, they may dislike it, but not with the unsettling insane, froth at the mouth, hate that many core fans do. Maybe Colbert does, but most of his viewers most likely do not.

I mean, Colbert is also in politics. Its not like a Spiderman reboot is the worst thing currently going on in the world…

Also, Brand New Day is amazing. How they got there, not as much, but *eh*. (…the only real question is… how does Venom exist in Thunderbolts… dun dun duuuuun…)

Since Colbert (at least in character) leans a bit to the right, there’s a lot of rich territory in the whole divorce and deal with the devil realm. Maybe someday…

Probably good for Marvel overall, but I still wanted to see Colbert rib him over the whole OMD thing.

You know, if Colbert had had his writing staff on board, I bet we would’ve seen some Spidey jabs thrown at Quesada for good measure.

I mean, didn’t Colbert dedicate a whole “The Word” segment to Captain America and Marvel’s Civil War?

Yeah, I did like the campaign phrase “Colbert Smash!” At least Joey Q didn’t tease us that it was Steve Rogers in the costume, because I have a feeling a lot of non-comics people will buy it because they think the “real” Cap is coming back.
