I thought the Leap Day festivities were over, but many a reader pointed out to me that this is also (as decreed by E. Nelson Bridwell, years ago) officially, Superman’s birthday!! And it just so happens that Superman was introduced in 1938, so this would be his 70th Birthday!!

There is only one good cover featuring Leapfrog prominently in existence, but luckily for us, Marvel has done it TWICE! Gene Colan drew it for Daredevil #25, but it was used later on when the book was reprinted, but the reprint edition (Marvel Adventure #4) drastically changes the cover.

Interesting Response to Gerber’s Death

Steve Gerding had an interesting post over at Kung-Fu Rodeo about how the death of Steve Gerber has apparently led to an increased amount of his comics being available to download on the internet on the various torrent sites.
