Sweet but not too saccharine. I'm a BKV fan for life, or at least as much as a comics fan could be. It really did tug at the heartstrings, and maybe it didn't ask as much of me as a reader, I'm definitely satisfied as a fan. I'm glad to see all the mainstream press it got too. This Comic Is Good, and it's the kind of book you want to bring others into. My wife was hooked after reading the double digest issue.
