What about Wovlerine? He’s the most popular X-Men, so you’d think marvel Would give him at least a miniseries. Good to know they don’t want to be seen as milking a cash cow too much.

I seem to be interpreting the question a little differently than everyone else – by “popular,” I assumed Cronin meant “popular both in comics and in other media.”
Cyborg was in a late Super Friends incarnation, I believe, and had a Super Powers figure. That, plus the Teen Titans cartoon, PLUS the Smallville version of the character, means that Cyborg has appeared outside of comics quite a bit more than most characters.
So if you look at it that way, he’s way more popular (that is, widely known) than, say, G’nort or Moondragon.

Well, Moondragon recently became an actual dragon, and then died. For now, at least.

So I think that kind of hampers her having her own series.

This is just a limited series, right. Shouldn’t we only count on going series…because eventually every character seems to be getting an one-shot or limited series….even Bob Agent of Hydra.

If you really want to count a four issue limited series as a “Series”……the Vision has had two…one written by Bob Harras and the second by Geoff Johns.

There was a really terrible Beast miniseries in the mid-90s. Karma, Cannonball,Viper, and Spiral were involved- why it was decided this would be a good idea for a Beast solo series, I have no idea.

I’m quite sure the Beast has never had a solo series since he became super popular in Avengers (I know he became fuzzy in his own feature in Amazing Adventures, but you’d think he’d score something since then).

I’m talking solo series. He did star with Wonder Man in Avengers Two, and of course, Beauty and the Beast, featuring a romance with the Dazzler. Never read that one, though.

Has Psylocke ever had a solo series? She was really popular for a few years.

Most of the Legion (including Brainiac 5, I think) have never had solo series.

Is Cyborg really that popular? I don’t recall getting that impression (at least prior to the Teen Titans cartoon).
