Did Frog-Man appear on the cover of that New Defenders issue he appeared in?

(Best line... from either Angel or Iceman, responding to Frog-Man's desire to join the Defenders: "We already have someone who jumps around like you do."

#1. It seems to have more of a Gene Colan personality to it, rather than the "Gene Colan filtered through John Romita" personality of the second cover.

Cover A, easy. First off, as many have noted), the colors are much better; secondly, the first logo is much cooler and doesn't get in the way of the art like "Marvel Adventure" does; and finally, "wow-eeee!" is fun, whereas "When lunges the Leap-Frog!" is just clunky.

Note that FROG-MAN has appeared on a number of covers, but this is the only good one starring Leapfrog, his villainous father.

The first one for the colors and the huge "WOW-EEEE!" on top.

The second cover is weaker due to the color scheme and the inserted DD dialogue bubble that makes him sound like an idiot.

Choice A because it's using Colan's inks whereas Daredevil has been re-rendered by one of Romita's Raiders on the reprint.

I'm going to say the first one as well. The biggest change is really the color. And, I'll admit, the second cover definitely catches the eye more, but the color theme is just pointless. At first glance it looks like Daredevil and Leapfrog are battling in the midst of an inferno, but really, they're just in some woods, so why all the yellow and orange? And why change the overall color of Leapfrog, who is suppose to be green?
