He's also done some strips for indie-pop label Kindercore's website, which can be found here. He also had a one-page strip in the Trouble Revolution mini-comic that Kindercore released last year. Great stuff.

Is this being released through bookstore distributors at the same time as Diamond? I work at Barnes & Noble and wanted to preorder this, but it wasn't available until May.

What's a good synopsis of this book that I can tell people about when I order it? In the past couple weeks I've been trying to explain comics to people in the most interesting and brief way. I've found it fun. For example, Preacher was "God quits and the preacher goes to find him;" The Arrival was "an immigrant encounters a fantastic new land." It's a neat exercise in figuring out why I like a particular comic.

I believe so, Dan. Since the March Previews is for stuff coming out in May.

As for a description of Skyscrapers of the Midwest...hmmm...an intermittently humorous and painful look at adolescence in the Midwest during the 1980s.

How's that?
