I love Howard Chaykin. I looked for Punisher War Journal #17 at the nearest comic shop but I couldn’t find it.

I just can’t see the appeal in a Punisher book set in the MU when we’ve got Ennis doing a bang up job over in MAX.
I just got the fourth hardcover and it’s as reliably excellent as always.
Puts every other book from the publisher to shame.

I didn’t like how Punisher was basically used in the issue of War Journal.

I get that perhaps Frank is just playing dumb, but that doesn’t really fit his MO, does it? “I’ll work with this murderer for NOW, but eventually I’ll kill him.” That doesn’t sound like the Punisher.

So it leaves that he was tricked by Stuart, which ALSO doesn’t really work.
