I can't see anyone realistically doing this from a business standpoint (it's over 43 volumes and is yet to be completed), but it would be marvelous if Suzue Miuchi's shojo "Glass Mask" would be available in English. It's a compelling, over-the-top melodrama about a "useless" girl who has the raw talent to become a great actress. She and this other classically trained actress compete for the fabled role of "The Crimson Goddess."

The one thing I'd add, since it's something I desperately want, is 7SEEDS, by Yumi Tamura, creator of the excellent Basara.

A few of Go Nagai's more notable series would be nice to see as well, though I'm not sure just how much of that would fly with the domestic market.

I'd like to see Bokurano ("Ours") by Mohiro Kitoh, having enjoyed the part of Shadow Star that got published in English. Plot's apparently got something to do with giant robot battles to protect our universe (by wiping out other innocent parallel worlds), but it sounds like another good excuse to put characters through the emotional wringer.

Also, Sayonara Zetsubou-sensei ("Goodbye Mr. Despair"). Surreal black comedy, about a suicidally depressed high school teacher faced with a class of students who are just as messed up in their own particular ways (my favourite being Kafuka the warped pollyanna). Might be a difficult sell, since it's a fair bit heavier in cultural references than the majority of translated titles, but it's a good one. Caution: may leave you in despair.
