I get US price and 25% discount, too. I've noticed that Marvel drops the price first, but DC drops it better.

I've been getting US price with a 25% discount for a year or more now at my shop in Winnipeg. It makes it practically an affordable habit!!

I know I'm buying a few more titles--I'd really love to know if overall Canadian sales have gone up significantly since the prices came down.

My LCS in MontrÃ©al used to give me US prices minus 10%, but since the early days when the value of the canadian dollar rivaled the USD, he gives me US prices minus 25% on everything.

It's a good time to buy comics.

Here in Australia, the US and AU dollars are about equal. And yet a standard single issue, say, 100 Bullets #89, out this week, costs $5.50. To put it into perspective, thatâ€™s two loaves of bread. Down here, itâ€™s almost prohibitively expensive NOT to wait for the trade - you almost save 50%.

Man you have expensive bread in Australia!

Here in England I have to pay Â£2.20 for The Flash, which is 2-4 loaves of bread depending on which you buy. Still TPBs are mostly Â£7-8 on Amazon and under a fiver on eBay (if you're patient) so there's still no way I'm going to buy more than one monthly comic.

I am studying abroad in New Zealand and although the NZ is about 80 US cents, most comics here are $6. I guess for shipping. Trades aren't much better, with most being $30 intead of $20. I dropped most books til I get back in the States.

There are multiple stores in the Toronto area where you can get U.S. cover price minus 20%. I mean, it was like that before DC's announcement.

A couple of places up here in Winnipeg (Manitoba) sell at the US prices.

The one I go to gives me 25% discount so it basically evens out whichever place I go to.

My shop here in Montreal has always offered pull-list clients their comics at US list prices adjusted for the exchange rate. Monthlies and trade.
