Top Runs Maintenance

First off, thanks to everyone for voting! The voting, when all was said and done, amounted to 682 ballots cast!! That's awesome, especially considering the fact that (unfortunately) I bet a bunch of people who voted in the beginning did not recast their votes. So yeah, that's a great amount of votes to get (next time, though, I'd love to crack 700!).

As to the time frame, I'm thinking this coming Monday will be the beginning. As to how long it will last - we shall see! ;)

Finally, if you would like to write an explanation for why you picked your top pick number one, you can e-mail it to me at bcronin@comicbookresources.com. If your pick makes the Top 100, I will probably use your description!!

This is gonna be soooo cool!

Just for comparison's sake, how many votes were cast for the favorite Marvel and DC characters poll again?

I know it was mentioned at one point, but I can't remember exactly what it was.

Great, now I have to remember what I voted for #1....

Ken: Ibid. I *think* I went with Morrison's JLA, but I can't remember where the post was....

Not much less - 660-something.

I honestly cannot remember what I picked for #1, either. I'll try and dig up my notes & get it to ya this weekend.

I'm shocked that people are saying they can't remember their #1 pick. Doesn't it shine above all others? Without question? Without hesitation? Like true love? Like your mother's smile?

Mine does.

Brian, please delete John and Ken and Stephen's number one picks.
They're so clearly not worthy.
Just go ahead and write in Kirby/Lee FF instead for each of them, without hesitation, like true love.
We'll all sleep better.

Number one was an easy choice for me as well, Lee/Kirby Fantastic Four.

The bottom five, I'm not sure I could remember. It changed considerably between the first and second ballots.
