If he had, I don't think he'd be extremely impressed by it. Even if he had, that doesn't mean what Ganges was doing with a similar premise wasn't excellent and original. Thanks. :) I really like Huizenga's "little slices of history" approach. Despite being so quiet and personal the amount of time they span gives them a sense of scope. This was a neat issue.
