Top 100 Runs Contest!

Okay, here’s the contest! Send me an e-mail at bcronin@comicbookresources.com (NOT in the comments here and NOT at any other e-mail address) with your guesses as to which runs will be #1-5, and in which order they will be in. The winner will get some sort of prize, most likely a small assortment of trades by runs that made the Top 100.

So if you think you know what the 680+ Comics Should Be Good voters picked as their top choices, let me know!

bcronin@comicbookresources.com – just tell me what you think the top five picks will be (in order) before this Saturday (April 19th) and you’ll have a chance to win!

It’ll be one of those deals where if only one person gets it totally right, they win the prize. If more than one person gets it totally right, I’ll do a random drawing to see who the winner is.

Good luck with your guesses!! The next five runs in the countdown will be up later today!!

Put up the next five already Cronin! I’m dyin’ here!

I’m really confident of my predictions for the top five. It’s the order that’s breaking my brain.

This is a lot harder to predict than the top characters. I’ve made my guess, we’ll see how close I got.

I bet nobody’s going to get it exactly right. Brian’s going to have to squint at the three or four people who came closest and say, well, this guy got this part right, but this guy got these two right, and this guy missed number 1 but had the other four in the right order…

Despite BC’s fair-enough invocation of the ‘randomness’ rule for the unlikely event that more than one person gets five-for-five, I offered him my #6 guess. Price is Right rules: closest without going over!

In order? Yikes. Beyond vague notions like “Stan & Jack’s FF will probably be in there”, I really don’t know. I’ll probably end up scrambling the most likely ones in random order and hoping for a fluke.

Stan & Jack’s FF is the first thing that popped in my head too. As to the other four, I have no idea.

Could we get a list somewhere of all the runs so far, just so we don’t accidentally include, say, X-Statix or something?

I’m throwing in my guess. You don’t mind shipping to Canada on the off chance I win, right?

I’m fairly confident in three or four of my five guesses being right (or else, in the top ten), but the order is a craps shoot.
