We should have seen it coming!

Below … a murderer’s dark past uncovered!!!!! Fear what lurks under the fold!!!!!

First: Jean Loring walks around town … with a shotgun strapped to her back!!!!! What’s up with that? Is she a good Second Amendment proponent … or something darker?!?!?!?

Hawkman was around when the heroes were looking for Sue Dibny’s killer. Why didn’t he read her aura? Why, Katar/Carter/Whatever the hell your name is? WHY?!?!?!? I bet then he would have seen deception in her!

Of course, Katar has his own insight into Jean’s character. “Ambition and fierce competitiveness”? Why didn’t he bring that up later?!?!?!? Damn you, Katar! Always wrapped up in your own convoluted history!!!!!! Who knows what slaughter might have been avoided if someone had just asked Katar what he knows about her!

DC comics: Foreshadowing without even realizing it! Who knew?

(This is from Hawkman #14 (Nov. 1994), written by William Messner-Loebs, drawn by Steve Lieber, and inked by Curt Shoultz. Fear Messner-Loebs’ prophetic power!)
(And yes, most bloggers pull this shit with Silver Age comics. That’s why I’m so awesome - I take far more recent panels out of context! Screw the Silver Age, man!)

If only anyone read Hawkman in the 1990s this tragedy could have been averted. For shame, for shame.

That Brad Meltzer dude, he is one sneaky bastard! LOL! :P

It would’ve been even more awesome if she’d had a flamethrower straped to her back.

You know, just in case.
