Comic Book Resources

It is nice, though I seldom know what alternative comics to get. Sadly, my experience this year will be halved, since I have to go to my uncle’s wedding on that Saturday.

“MoCCA is cooler than normal cons, right?”

The answer is “yes”.

MoCCA = A nice, relaxed brunch with good friends, on a sunny summer day. You’re sitting at a table on the sidewalk, with a bloody mary, laughing about your favorite movie, eating fresh bagels, flirting with the waitress. A nice breeze wafts by as you sip some delicious coffee.

Other Cons = You stand alone in a middle school dining hall the day before summer break, and kids start throwing dirty gym clothes at each other while screaming. On your tray is a boiled hot dog on a stale bun, and a carton of warm vitamin d milk. A boom-box is cranking N’Sync, or maybe Korn. The fat kid eats too much pudding and the janitors have to get out the kitty litter.

Yeah, Mocca’s the only con that I don’t hate myself after even thinking about, let alone visiting.

Now I want to do brunch before attending MOCCA on Saturday or Sunday. Anyone in?
