The "Who Is It" has to be somebody on the Armorines, right? I haven't read those books since they first came out, but that's the only Valiant "team of armored people" I can think of.

Line of eight Valiant titles:

1.) Eternal Warriors. The Acclaim concept of putting Archer, Armstrong, Ivar and Galad all in one book - but using the Shooter continuity, which was much cooler.
2.) Magnus, Shooter era. Gotta have Magnus.
3.) Ninjak, the Kurt Busiek version - absolutely insane concept plus positioning to make him the VU's equivalent of Spider-Man = must have.
4.) X-O Manowar. Aric. Highest concept ever.
5.) Solar. Phil.
6.) Harbinger, Shooter era.
7.) Quantum and Woody. Obviously.
8.) I'm torn between Shadowman (Jack Boniface) and Turok (any).

The fact that all three covers have somebody wearing Spider-Alien armor is too obvious
Right, but perhaps a twist on that?

The only Turok I've read is the third one, so I'm going to have to go with that. No snark whatsoever, either. I thought Barry and Josh played off each other rather well, and loved the notion that eventually college baseball hero Josh would at some point lose an arm in battle.

A line of eight Valiant titles? Let's see--
1. Turok. The Josh Fireseed version.
2. Solar. Phil Seleski.
3. Magnus, Robot Fighter. I'd actually go all the way back to the Gold Key days
4. Harbinger. The original.
5. Troublemakers. G&G would be set up as an explicitly anti-Harada force, but the kids don't know that.
6. X-O Manowar. Aric.
7. Secret Weapons, which I would kind of cheat and use as an anthology for everything that didn't make the list--most especially the rest of Concrete Jungle.
8. Quantum and Woody.
