Anyone not familiar with Mike Ploog's work should make the effort to check out some of his early Marvel Horror work. Highly recommended is the Following : Marvel Spotlight # 2-7, Werewolf by Night #1-5 and #13-16, Monster of Frankenstein # 1-6, and Manthing # 5-11. It's creepy yet beautiful. Do yourself a favor.

Speaking of the Wizard of Oz, there is a new Alpimar book series, that you can check out at WIZOZFAN. The first is book is in print -- "Halloween in Oz."

The well-known book reviewer Lesa Holstine has written a review.

Hey, I liked The Stardust Kid quite a bit. I hope the trade does well, because the singles were spread out over two companies and many, many years. It kind of killed any momentum the series might have had.

HEY!!! I used to love the Six Million Dollar Man series when I was a kid!!! Quit trashing my childhood memories!!!

Though I used to collect the X-files books, I miss TOPPS adapting the TV series into book form.
Such as it is, this series put Charles Adlard on the map way before becoming the permanent artist of
THE WALKING DEAD.

V the mini-series and tv series, wasn't too bad. Didn't last too long if memories serves me correctly.
