Just checked Amazon, and you can get a new copy of a Greenberg The Vampire graphic novel for as little as 7.95. I might have to look into that; it looks incredibly interesting.

If I remember correctly, I think it was Mark Badger who was JMD's artistic collaborator on this very, very fine book. I still take that out and read it at least once a year and it never fails to bring a tear to my eye.

I remember reading this, and still have my copy.
It may have been one of the first stories where I could really "hear" DeMateis' "voice".

Soon after this, I read his "Moonshadow" & "Into Shamballa" (the Doctor Strange graphic novel).
And from there, I was hooked on all things that he would do.

Grenberg's a good, offbeat choice.
I can onlt hope that H is a certain long-standing background character with the initials; H.H.H.).
