Despite current popular usage, â€œtroopâ€ does not mean an individual soldier, which is what the above sentence sounds like you mean. â€œTroopsâ€ means an unspecified number of soldiers, but â€œtroopâ€ means a unit (comprised of several â€œtroopersâ€ or individual soldiers) under command of a captain.

Despite current popular usage, “troop” does not mean an individual soldier, which is what the above sentence sounds like you mean. “Troops” means an unspecified number of soldiers, but “troop” means a unit (comprised of several “troopers” or individual soldiers) under command of a captain.

I bought this book for a year and a half. Despite Jimenez’s artwork, I kept on thinking “So this is the Teen Titans everyone always talks about…this isn’t that good.” One issue was just about four rocks floating around a house all day. That was it for me: I stopped my pull order.
