Comic Book Alphabet of Vampires – P
First Second Books’ Vampire Month is over, but we are still going!
Here is a fan favorite that I know folks were clamoring for as soon as we began!
Enjoy!
Pryemaul

Pryemaul was a gorilla who was experimented on by the Nazis and made a part of the Primate Platoon (later the Primate Patrol)

Years later, he popped up in the pages of Doctor Thirteen’s adventures in Tales of the Unexpected. Count Julius (as he was going by at the time) was one of the group of characters who no longer had a place in the DC Universe.
However, once he became a talking Nazi gorilla VAMPIRE, then the Architects of the DC Universe found a use for him – and renamed him Pryemaul.
At the end, he stuck with Team 13. Someone really needs to bring Team 13 back!! Brian Azzarello and Cliff Chiang rock!

A Nazi Gorilla vampire? He should fight Swarm, a Nazi made of bees!

go out and round up everybody who knows more than they do.”

Personally, I’ve been clamoring for the Vampire Lestat!!

Since I think this is the 2nd Vampire who is also a Nazi in this list, I think it would be hysterical to see if you could do a Comic Book Alphabet of Nazis.

Swarm is a nazi?

Swarm is definitely a Nazi. He was one of Hitler’s top scientists before he was eaten alive by bees that, subsequently, gained his consciousness.
And, Pryemaul is awesome. Great choice, Brian.

Or…gained his conscience rather.
But, yeah, Pryemaul? Rock. I’d kill for a Team 13 follow-up. Does anyone know how the trade is selling?

I second the wish for an A-Z of comicbook nazis.
