That was indeed me that praised the meanness! Glad to see the trend continues in this book. (I thought Master of the Lamp, or whatever it was, was kind of forgettable.

Johanthan -- ha! Okay, I can't see that but I expect we are talking a very "male oriented" notion of "Venus" here. hee. MarkAndrew -- Sadly, the playground part only lasts a short time. However, the heroine's grandmother is a real kick, since rarely do older women get to be sexy, smart, powerful and NOT evil. Or, at least, not entirely evil...hey, I'll take what I can get!

Shojo makes me slightly nervous, as the following equation demonstrates.

Nervousness | Is proportional to | size of main characters eyes.

But this looks kind of cool. Not the money or the handsome prince stuff, but I want to read about the main character living in a playground.
