I'm thinking the Wizard of 1,000 Menaces was using a sophisticated "hat drawing" method to fill out his repertoire. One hat contains an adjective, another a noun. He draws from each hat then puts his villainous wizardry to work crafting his newest menace:

From the first hat: Invisible!
From the second hat: Robots!

First hat: Magic!
Second hat: Ninjas!

Sticky!
Dinosaurs!

Robotic!
Circus Bears!

and so on...

In what way is a dungeon trap different from a dungeon? Surely being in a dungeon automatically implies and element of trappedness.

I don't know about you, but I can see the dotted lines where the robots are suppose to be. Batman should be smarter than that.

I think that a few may have been:
Invisible dragons.
Invisible ninjas.
Invisible vampires.
Invisible sharks.
Invisible apes.
Invisible giant spiders.

And visible robots.

It's great that his giant noggin has absolutely nothing to do with his gimmick.

Invisible robots? Rad.

What were the other 999 menaces?
