This is hilarious on so many levels. It's nice to know 3 of the most dangerous women in the world stopped and posed for glamor shots. I can't wait for Morrison or Meltzer to introduce a photographer-to-the-villains type character (because really, who among us hasn't wonder where villains get their publicity shots taken?). And three insect-themed female villains introduced in one issue? And for all the talk to T&A that appears in comics today, those costume designs much have been pretty risque back when that issue was released.

You know, the dialogue between Bruce and Dick could be interpreted by some as a 'beard'...;)

...sorry, I can't help myself. But I am astonished that it has been up this long with no one leaping to correct it before now. Isn't this the internet?

I remember reading the whole story somewhere but for the life of me I can't remember where. It was some trade.

Anyway, I remember the dialogue was incredibly contrived. I literally remember thinking, "Wow, this dialogue is incredibly contrived," but that and the above image are all I remember.

"If crime in the DC Universe is at the point where the top three “World Public Enem[ies]” are all gimmick thieves decked out like a Victoria’s Secret catalog, one has to question the need for a Batman at all."

I'm pretty sure this is Maxim's list of World Public Enemies, not an official government list.

It's funny that they described Bruce as a millionaire sportsman. Like they just ran out of good adjectives one day and just decided to refer to him based on his hobbies.

"At the Gotham Opera, millionaire racecar enthusiast, Bruce Wayne, takes his seat."
