Wait, is Deadpool in this?

nah.I think Alan Moore wrote it though

Is this the issue where they realize they're rivalry over Archie is really just a mask for their true feelings?

One of them's supposed to be a Skrull ... right?

"Yes" times 300. There, done.

I'd like to see Wolk take THIS one to task for the Magical Negro archetype so prevalent in the "Summer Fun Spectacular" series.

Betty totally can't take her eyes off Veronica's chest...

i wonder what the significance of Betty dumping a water bucket is.

It depends on what the issue number is. All I know is, if it's not on the Top 50 list, it was robbed.

First...
It's a bucket of sand.

Second...
This is a CBR column?
REALLY?!
...wow...

No, last I checked, this is a fun blog that doesn't take itself too seriously and happens to be hosted by CBR.

Mad Monkey, read the entry a couple posts down entitled "Changing Horses Midstream" and you'll get the joke behind this entry better.

Sadly, it's not on my pull list.

I think Betty's looking at the bulge in Veronica's crotch. No wonder she's nicknamed "Ronnie"!

I notice the vote's pretty evenly split between Yes and No, and really, I'm not surprised as I knew it would be a controversial issue when I first flipped through it.

I liked the cover, so I voted yes. Boobs and bikinis make for good reading... at least that what the mid-90's comic industry taught me.

Bah! I voted... NO!

This comic clearly doesn't know what guys like. I've been a guy all my life! ...and no guy would ever approve of Veronica wearing a onepiece!

Bill...
You took it too seriously...lol.

Reno, this clearly isn't the real Veronica. This one is from Earth-53, a world where all Archie characters are hermaphodites.

Question: Does this take place before or after "Ultimate Crisis in Infinite Riverdales," and if it's before, is this Universe A where Veronica's mother is named Julia or Universe B where she's named Hermione?

@Moriarty, the gang did indeed have a "magical Negro" in their fold. His name was Chuck, and he's just so damn good at sports.

remember the issue where Chuck was having hitting problems on the baseball team...he was about to give up the sport forever when they learned that the bat he was using had been made of a lighter ash wood instead of a heavier wood he was used to so it was making him swig too fast, but in the end they gave hi the correct bat and it solved the crisis...

good times, good times...

Betty's two peice makes me feel all weird inside

I suggest they shop it into something more modest. It's Archie for crying out loud. They have a higher moral standard to uphold

Magical Negro Chuck is also a talented artist.

This takes place before “Ultimate Crisis in Infinite Riverdales”, but after "House of Secret Civil Invasions".

This doesn't really prove Brian's point, though. I'd wager that fewer people CARE to vote in a poll like this than in a poll like the #11 poll.
