Brian,

I took the liberty of downloading Credo’s scan from the “Urban Legends” piece, and Photoshopped the resolution a bit, cleaning up the grain and print patterns a bit…

There’s definitely a word or two before “Harras… ” Could even be “R.I.P. Bob Harras…”

Where do I email stuff to?? (Email me with your email address if necessary)…

Though wouldn’t Credo happen to have a better scan of his original?

Sorry fo rthe huge delay in getting back to you on this, but UNiverse X was in my Ebay pile in the spare room… Stacked in box 12… Right at the bottom…

Here’s the rub.. Even though there is no mention of “First printing”, “Second printing” or otherwise, my copy has the blank bookcase on that panel…

I went through the book five times before I finally realised that the reason I wasn’t spotting it must be that I own the WRONG VERSION!!! Dang it.. However, If you want a 300dpi scan of the page (it’s a 3-panel page, so each panel is actually quite large, and it’s obvious that the insult would actually be quite noticeable!!)

There are examples of other book spines a couple of pages previous, with titles like “Along Came a Spider” and “Arachnia”…

Do you still need a scan of Marvel Star Wars #1 with the Red-headed Leia and the green Darth Vader?

Haven’t you already shown scans of some of these images in Urban Legends? Like the Harras insult and the Howard MAX cover, I’m positive you’ve shown those already in Urban Legends before.
