This was a cute comic. I liked seeing Willy Lumpkin play an important part in a story. My only complaint would be that Johnny was written a bit stupider than he should be.

Oh… er… and just to pre-empt any comments like;
“You should be able to get them easily, as the first issue just came out and the second is next month.”

Well… I don’t really have a LCS near me.
I have a relative who runs a shoppe a few states away, where I used to live (and gives me an AWESOME discount), so I place all my orders thru Previews 3 months in advance which are then shipped to me on a quasi-monthly basis.

Hmmm… speaking of which, I should be getting a shipment soon.
I need my fix.

This looks kinda fun, and I was mildly interested in this, but passed on pre-ordering the first two issues.
THEN, I found out who the big-bad of the story was to be and decided to start ordering.
(I just hope my back-up guy can snag the first two issues for me)

I hate when that happens.

Thursday Next is awesome. In the secondbook in the series, while being pursued by thugs, she needs to escape into a book. Except she doesn’t have one. Or a maagzine, or anything that can be read. Quickly she grabs the tag of her shirt and “jumps” into the washing instructions. Which is, hilariously, one sad guy in an empty room just reciting the isntructions over and over again.
