The Return of Dancing Batman

I see that this old post has been making the rounds again on the ol' internet, so I figure if a two-year old post is still drawing interest, I ought to share it with the rest of you all, so here you go, from October of 2006 - BC

For this month's Judging (DC's) Books By Their Covers, I made a comment regarding Alex Ross' covers to The Greatest Batman Stories Ever Told Vol. 1 and 2:

Words fail to descibe how silly this Batman: Greatest Stories Ever Told Volume 2 cover by Alex Ross is. The ONE saving grace is as follows...Take the cover for Volume 1. Then flip back and forth from Volume 1 to Volume 2, and you can make it look like Batman is doing a funky dance.

People wanted to see this funky dance, so luckily, everyone's favorite absent blog member, Tadhg, put it together for our enjoyment. So click "Continue Reading" and enjoy the funky Batman dance!

BWAH-HAH-HAH-HA-HAAAAA!

Is that the Batusi? Or some other exotic Bat Dance?

Supremely epic. It would be funnier if we could zoom out a little, though.

He looks like Patrick Warburton.

ALMOST as good as that old YTMND "dancing" Batman (Batusi) clip.

nerds. :P

[...] The Return of Dancing Batman [...]

I'm getting a definite cossack dance vibe.
Whatever would the KGBeast think?!

I was thinking you could set this to Prince's song off the '89 Batman movie. Stop the press!

I had Weird Al's "Can't Watch This" playing when I opened this.

It's disturbing to see Batman dance to it.
