Hell, I'm amazed there were nine pages of plot in the book to begin with.

I don't get it... or is that the point?

Thanks Brian for the link! I hope everybody likes it. Joe, if you aren't already familiar with the plot (such as it is), it's probably kinda hard to pick up through my summary, especially when you compare it to All Star Superman. But as I said in the post, I think Miller and Lee are going more for establishing a mood in those nine issues (and some characterization), and I hope that comes across in my summary.

I thought it was hysterical! It was a Sandy original, part deux!

Say what you want about the series, but Robin calling Hal a rube still cracks me up.

I would've put the right half of panel two nine times.

Amazingly, it sucks even in 9-panel form.

Few missed opportunities. Like not including the "Damn you and your Lemonade" line from Jordon.

Never read past issue two...now it's confirmed I really didn't miss anything...

Grant - I liked that one too, but remember, only one panel from each issue. Would you put the lemonade panel in instead of the What a rube/Hal telling us what is going on panel that I picked?

Lame. Completely missed the whole GL/Batman interaction. One of the funniest comics I ever read.

Also, love the "literati" that gotta bag on ASBAR. How's it feel knowing you're not in on the joke?

These are great, but even better are the 30 second summaries I saw of Infinite Crisis and Civil War...need to find the link to those...
