Tom - how far East are we talking? Eventually, you hit water and then we're in Arion, Lord of Atlantis territory. That's ok by me. Further East, we'll get all the way to Japan - so you've got Lone Wolf & Cub or even the Wolverine miniseries from '82.

Slaz - I hear you. DC's policy on the Showcase stuff seems to be nothing before 1955. That sucks. A Johnny Thunder book would sell, there are enough Toth fans to make it profitable. Marvel's done a better job with the Rawhide Kid Masterworks, but that's only the early 60s stuff. That's why I'm suggesting these books - because they can be found pretty easily and don't cost much.

I get a little sad reading about stuff like this that's not available in a decent reprint collection. I guess some of DC's westerns might come out in Showcase volumes at some point (so far I think only Jonah Hex has been released).

Wish I had seen this title when it came out. I remember others of the horde of reprint titles DC and Marvel both were issuing during this period.
