brian, thanks! really appreciate it.
and thanks, to all of you guys. there’s more great croatian artists – kordey, zezelj, ribic…
it’s not a water, it’s growing up in ex-yugoslavia that had rich comic industry publishing masterworks from usa, france, spain, italy etc.
oh, and i didn’t work on exterminators, blackjak, but i’m working now with simon oliver on chas mini series.

Having lived in Zagreb since the early 1990s, I can tell you that there’s not much in the water here besides a little chalk (it’s some seriously hard water). At least, drinking it over the years has done nothing to improve my drawing or storytelling talents. Must be something else…

Another great artist. I hadn’t seen his work outside of his Y the Last Man fill-ins, but the other stuff looks much more detailed and elaborate. I realize that he was probably trying to maintain the feel that Pia Guerra established for the book, and it’s admirable that he could suit that style as well. But his ” original ” ( i.e. directed by his own style, not another’s ) work looks marvelous.

Wow! He did Lady Constantine?? I thought I had first seen his stuff on Y… wrong, again!
Love those pencils on the Y pages by the way. Gorgeously clean!

Did he do a couple of fill-in issues on the Exterminators as well, or was I hallucinating that one?

Sudzuka reminds me of Goran Parlov who did alot of the Punisher Max with Garth Ennis.
