" I have yet to see a positive review of a Marvel Adventures book that DOESN'T present itself in opposition to the main line Marvels. If Marvel Adventures Avengers is good because it's a funny, entertaining comic, then the positivity is merited. If it's being used as a safety blanket to ward off the scary changes in the original characters, then the reviews aren't about the work itself, just what it represents to the hyper-traditional.
