I hope you're able to do the full solicitations in the next installment of Judging. I'm sure it's a lot of work but I really enjoy this feature. It's one of my favorites here at CBR.

My pick for the month is X-Force #9. That cover is packed to the gills with violent, sexy, sleazy imagery. One thing it isn't is subtle but if I was looking for subtly I wouldn't be reading a superhero action comic.

"Why does Bullseye only use Aces of Spades? Regular decks of cards are significantly cheaper."

For a minute, I thought Long John Silver was Wolverine.

And there's a story in that idea...

disagree!

3. X-Men: World's Apart - because Storm is awesome and so is the cover. currently my desktop wallpaper at work.

2. She-Hulk - c'mon, it's Deodato drawing She-Hulk fighting a bear. do i need to say anything more? my desktop wallpaper at home.

1. Avengers: The Initiative - 3-D Man's goggles shattering with Havok-style concentric circles shooting out from the explosion. awesome! was my desktop at home but i needed a change.

and btw, Clayton Henry has always been incredible, especially if you go back and read his work on the Alpha Flight relaunch with Scott Lobdell from a few years ago.

Definitely love the Thunderbolts cover. That would be in my top 5. Don't like the Ultimate X-Men cover so much though.
