Don't you know that jokes like this make Grant Morrison cry?
It's the reason the original monitor split in two, dudes! Stop it now.

So, is the punchline:
DC is sloppy
or
the kinds of people who make superhero porn are exactly the kinds of people who really truly deeply care about continuity?
I choose the second option.

" the kinds of people who make superhero porn are exactly the kinds of people who really truly deeply care about continuity? "
For some people, comics like Infinite Crisis and Avengers Forever are treated with the same mindset one might enter into " Wild Wild Chest " or " Ally McFeel ".
( And yes, I realize those references are very dated in terms of punny porn movies. Sue me for not keeping up with the pornographic zeitgeist. )

Pornographic time ghost. What an awesome comic idea.

Umm, so where would one find this super-hero themed porn? You know, if someone wanted to. Not that I do. But a ... friend of mine was asking about it. A friend.

@Eric: No, the punchline is that superhero-themed porn, which you wouldn't think would give a flying flim-flam about continuity, has tight continuity in the world of Comic Critics. And this is funny, because it's not what you would expect.

Maybe it's not what _you_ would expect, but I suggest you haven't been subscribing to the right sites.

By far the funniest strip so far, making it worth wading through the lame ones.

Oh please. The number of people making flesh-on-flesh contact with Rogue alone puts the average superhero porn site way past even the most loosely edited actual comic continuity-error-wise.
Of course, he may be looking only at DC-related porn, which tends to hold up a little better. The only major errors you tend to see there happen when someone includes a character who wasn't active until AFTER Barbara Gordon stopped being Batgirl.
All of this, of course, is based purely on something some guy told me once. And I memorized it phonetically. I'm not even sure what most of those words mean.

Poor Psyslut never had a chance.
