1. It would take all of the Avengers, especially those who have their own titles, and would be a 15 part summer crossover during which an ongoing subplot would be the Avenger's distrust of Hank Pym. Except, at the end, Hank comes through as having defeated the Martians with a biological weapon. And, Cap gets mad at him and accuses him of genocide and kicks him out of the Avengers.

1/b. Again, it would be a massive crossover. But, this time it would be a new guy, just introduced either for the crossover or shortly before it, who saves the day. And, in return becomes a regular member of the JLA and possibly gets his own title.

2. Batman. He trained to be the best at everything. I assume that includes Katamari Damanci, DDR, and poetry.

3.

4. Invisible Woman. She seems to be more athletic.

5. Cyclops. He's a natural leader who thinks decisions through quickly and sticks to his guns once he has made a decision. (Except in the 90s when he was written as a wishy washy second guesser who cried at the drop of a hat.)

6. Colossus. He trains a lot more than Atom-Smasher.

7. Gotta go with Frank Miller for this.

8. Shadowcat.

9. Martian Manhunter, Wally West, Kyle Rayner, Aquaman, Power Girl, Red Robin, Connor Hawke

10. Halo.

1. How many Avengers would it take to ward off an invasion of Earth by the Martians from War of the Worlds? In the alternative, how many Justice Leaguers?

It would take 3 9/13 Avengers and 2.7 JLA'ers to beat teh martians.

2. Who could write the best poem - Batman or Tom Strong?

Batman would be too moody. For example a Batman Haiku

villains cowardly
Superstisious too I think
Creature of the Night

3. Which Teen Titan (past or present - just so long as they’re a teenager, so teenage Dick Grayson would count) would you pick to babysit your kids?

I just leave my kids out in the back yard all night.

4. Who would you rather have taking a half-court shot for $50,000 (sans powers, of course) - Invisible Woman or Zatanna?

All Zatanna does is wave her arms about. Invisable Woman needs a good knowledge of spacial relationships so she can figure out where to place her force fields. Invisabel woman all the way!

5. What member of the X-men would make the best President of the United States?

There's about 900 people to choose from but I'd go with FDR. he could use FDR's presidential wheelchair.

6. Who would win in a foot race (without using powers) - Colossus or Atom-Smasher?

Atom Smasher weighs less and was a basketball player. Colosus even in human form is well over 200 pounds and spends his days painting or sobbing.

7. Who is Superman’s third-best villain (presuming Luthor and Brainiac are #1 and #2, respectively - and excluding Mxy because he seems too tame to be a villain)?

Parasite

8. What Marvel hero who has never been an Avenger would make the best Avenger (legacy heroes like Bucky Cap excluded)?

Nightcrawler.

9. What would be your ideal seven-member Justice League team?

Wonder Woman, Wonder Girl, Vixen, Zatanna, Hawk girl, and two other random chicks, and they always get chlorophormed and all meeting end in super powered pillow fights.

10. Who is the coolest non-Batman member of the original Outsiders?

The Outsiders was one of the ugliest groups I have ever seen. They al teh suck.

1. Two- Thor and Iron Man could get it done. JLAers- Superman or Batman could handle it solo.

2. Tom Strong.

3. Roy Harper. What could go wrong?

4. Sue Storm.

5. Wolverine. I'd like to have a beer with him and that's what's important. Xavier seems like an east coast elitist.

6. Colossus

7. Bizarro

8. Iceman
9. Supeman, Batman, Robin, Wonder Woman, Plastic Man, Captain Marvel and Blackhawk.

10. Metamorpho.

1. How many Avengers would it take to ward off an invasion of Earth by the Martians from War of the Worlds? In the alternative, how many Justice Leaguers?

I'm going to say....five.

2. Who could write the best poem - Batman or Tom Strong?

Tom Strong. Batman would write like an anxtly teenager.

3. Which Teen Titan (past or present - just so long as they’re a teenager, so teenage Dick Grayson would count) would you pick to babysit your kids?

Dick probably.

4. Who would you rather have taking a half-court shot for $50,000 (sans powers, of course) - Invisible Woman or Zatanna?

Zatanna. Why? I don't know, that's why.

5. What member of the X-men would make the best President of the United States?

Beast, by a country mile, with Kitty as Press Secretary. Scott would second guess himself too much. Xavier wouldn't be able to resist tinkering with the minds of the Supreme Court to get the judgments he wants.

6. Who would win in a foot race (without using powers) - Colossus or Atom-Smasher?

Colossus?

7. Who is Superman’s third-best villain (presuming Luthor and Brainiac are #1 and #2, respectively - and excluding Mxy because he seems too tame to be a villain)?

Zod should be.

8. What Marvel hero who has never been an Avenger would make the best Avenger (legacy heroes like Bucky Cap excluded)?

The Silver Surfer.

9. What would be your ideal seven-member Justice League team?

Batman, Supergirl, Flash, Black Canary, Green Arrow, Aquaman, Martian Manhunter.

10. Who is the coolest non-Batman member of the original Outsiders?

No idea.

1. It would only take one. Ant man would shrink down and investigate what makes the aliens tick and discover that the common cold could wipe their asses out. Take that, Tom Cruise!

2. Tom Strong. I don't think I want to be privy to any of Batman's thoughts.

3. I would pick Starfire as the best babysitter. She's a powerhouse, but she also is a gentle person. Plus, who wouldn't want to have her walking around your house?

4. What is this, Whit Girls Can't Jump? I think that Invisible Woman is in better shape than Zatanna. Zatanna doesn't seem to get into physical interaction during a fight, so Invisible Woman has a chance.

5. I would put Cyclops in as Pres. I know it's a lame, obvious choice, but he's a natural leader and at time he goes a little bit over the line to get the job done.

6. Colossus. I think that the X-men spend a hell of a lot of time training and Colossus

7. DarkSeid would be the #3.

8. I would make Blade an Avenger. I hope he never was one! As far as I can tell, he has never been mentioned as one.

9. Ideal 7 member Justice League? I would exclude Superman because you don't need that much power. Blashphemy! I would have Green Lantern Jon Stewart, The Flash, The Question II, Mister Terrific, Wonder Woman, Red Tornado and The Atom.

10. Non Batman Outsider? Um, Katana?

1. How many Avengers would it take to ward off an invasion of Earth by the Martians from War of the Worlds? In the alternative, how many Justice Leaguers?

I'd say all of the Avengers, and as for the JLA, it should only take one (Superman), but I think at least 6 would be compelled to fight: Superman, the four Green Lanterns - it is their duty, and obviously Martian Manhunter.

2. Who could write the best poem - Batman or Tom Strong?

Never thought of Bats as the artsy type, so Tom Strong.

3. Which Teen Titan (past or present - just so long as they’re a teenager, so teenage Dick Grayson would count) would you pick to babysit your kids?

One of the girls, probably one of the Wonder Girls more specifically.

4. Who would you rather have taking a half-court shot for $50,000 (sans powers, of course) - Invisible Woman or Zatanna?

Zatanna is a show woman by trade, so she would be more accustomed to that type of pressure.

5. What member of the X-men would make the best President of the United States?

Well, a ton of them are not US born, so ineligible, but I would have to say Cable, seeing as he has already run a fairly successful nation.

6. Who would win in a foot race (without using powers) - Colossus or Atom-Smasher?

Colossus is really tall, and it is hard to outrun an athletic tall guy.

7. Who is Superman’s third-best villain (presuming Luthor and Brainiac are #1 and #2, respectively - and excluding Mxy because he seems too tame to be a villain)?

It should be Zod, but its probably more like Darkseid.

8. What Marvel hero who has never been an Avenger would make the best Avenger (legacy heroes like Bucky Cap excluded)?

Rom the Spaceknight. Ha!

9. What would be your ideal seven-member Justice League team?

Superman, Batman, Barry Allen Flash, Hal Jordan GL, Martian Manhunter, Swamp Thing

10. Who is the coolest non-Batman member of the original Outsiders?

Obviously Metamorpho.

9. I don't think any incarnation i'd want of the team would conform enough to allow them to be called the justice league

10. Are they cool?

1. Well, considering it took microbes to beat them in Wells' book, you'd only need one in either case - so long as s/he is a scientist.

2. Tom Strong. Better muse. Read things besides crime & forensics. Written by a writer with a poetic sense (Moore)

3. Wonder Girl. She just seems like the archetype.

4. Invisible Woman. Her determination, Reed's physics telling her how much force to use at what angle..it could work. Also, if she missed she's worth more and could give me $20,000 to make up for it.

5. Since the law says US presidents must be US born and over 35, that doesn't leave many. So, Prof. X?

6. Atom-Smasher.

7. Batman. And I'd put him above Braniac.

8. Is there anyone who hasn't been an Avenger yet? WTF, Speedball.

9. I like the idea of best of best, so give me the Super-Friends line-up (minus the twins and Aquaman): Supes, Bats, WW, GL, Hawman, Flash, Martian Manhunter

10. Black Lightning (he was in, right? So long ago)

1. How many Avengers would it take to ward off an invasion of Earth by the Martians from War of the Worlds? In the alternative, how many Justice Leaguers?

I think it would take a united Marvel effort to repel a worldwide Martian invasion, so more than ALL the Avengers, while I agree that Superman could probably handle it himself in the DCU.

2. Who could write the best poem - Batman or Tom Strong?

Tom Strong, easily—more in touch with his creative side. Not that I think it would exactly be a good poem.

3. Which Teen Titan (past or present - just so long as they’re a teenager, so teenage Dick Grayson would count) would you pick to babysit your kids?

Uh…Tim Drake Robin?

4. Who would you rather have taking a half-court shot for $50,000 (sans powers, of course) - Invisible Woman or Zatanna?

Invisible Woman, if it’s in her capable, post-Byrne, post-1960s sexism incarnation.

5. What member of the X-men would make the best President of the United States?

Does Professor X count? If so, him. Otherwise I’d say Beast.

6. Who would win in a foot race (without using powers) - Colossus or Atom-Smasher?

No idea.

7. Who is Superman’s third-best villain (presuming Luthor and Brainiac are #1 and #2, respectively - and excluding Mxy because he seems too tame to be a villain)?

Darkseid, ‘nuff said. Works great as a villain for Supes or universe-wide threat for the New Gods, other than that he can be overused. I like Mongul as Darkseid-lite, too.

8. What Marvel hero who has never been an Avenger would make the best Avenger (legacy heroes like Bucky Cap excluded)?

Hmmm…I’m gonna say Galactus’ Punisher.

9. What would be your ideal seven-member Justice League team?

Wonder Woman, John Stewart, Wally West, J’onn J’onnz, Batman, Green Arrow, Supergirl.

10. Who is the coolest non-Batman member of the original Outsiders?

Metamorpho is NOT cool, so Katana.

7. Who is Superman’s third-best villain (presuming Luthor and Brainiac are #1 and #2, respectively - and excluding Mxy because he seems too tame to be a villain)?

Bizarro, followed closely by Metallo, Parasite, and Toyman. Then maybe Doomsday and Darkseid (but if you're going into include Darkseid, you may as well throw Mongul in there too since they're both pretty general DCU villains, even if Mongul isn't nearly as cool or memorable, his Warworld and "For the Man Who Has Everything" stories aside).

Have a good day.

1. How many have colds at the time of the invasion?

2. Batman. Because Batman ALWAYS wins.

3. Tough call...probably Beast Boy (he'd be the fun baby sitter) or Robin (the responsible one).

4. Zatanna...her non-powered magic tricks probably require better hand/eye coordination.

5. No questions: Cyclops.

6. Atom Smasher played basketball. Colossus is a lumbering oath.

7. Pop culturally-speaking, definitely Zod, but I don't think he's had enough presence in the comics to rank. Probably Parasite or Metallo, because they can offer the best physical confrontation and aren't one note (Doomsday) or a bad guy to everyone (Darkseid). I'll say Parasite.

8. Songbird, unless her potential future membership status excludes her. Then I'd probably say one of the Runaways (it'd be interesting to see Chase as sort of a young Iron Man) or Kitty Pryde; she's done just about everything else.

9. I'm a sucker for the big seven: Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Green Lantern (doesn't really matter which...probably John), Flash (Wally) and J'onn.

Okay, I lied. Drop J'onn and add Green Arrow.

10. Katana! Her name's Katana, she uses a katana...it practically writes itself...

Oh, I'll just say Metamorpho, I guess.

-The Avengers would need a well-organized team. The JLA would just need its heavy hitters.

-Tom Strong seems more likely to study poetry for its own sake.

1. How many Avengers would it take to ward off an invasion of Earth by the Martians from War of the Worlds? In the alternative, how many Justice Leaguers?

Seven Avengers. Thor, Iron Man, Scarlet Witch, Black Knight, Giant Man, Beast and Vision.
Five Leaguer. Superman, Aquaman, Ion, Flash, and Zatanna.

2. Who could write the best poem - Batman or Tom Strong?

Batman, but it would be a haiku.

3. Which Teen Titan (past or present - just so long as they’re a teenager, so teenage Dick Grayson would count) would you pick to babysit your kids?

Cyborg. Easy question.

4. Who would you rather have taking a half-court shot for $50,000 (sans powers, of course) - Invisible Woman or Zatanna?

Sue. Mom's have weird, mom-skills like that.

5. What member of the X-men would make the best President of the United States?

Kitty Pryde.

6. Who would win in a foot race (without using powers) - Colossus or Atom-Smasher?

Tough one. I'll say Colossus because I think we've seen him work out more in the danger room. I think his fitness would be better.

7. Who is Superman’s third-best villain (presuming Luthor and Brainiac are #1 and #2, respectively - and excluding Mxy because he seems too tame to be a villain)?

Batman. Sounds silly, but over the years, Batman has given Superman some of his best duels and battles, physically, mentally, and morally.

8. What Marvel hero who has never been an Avenger would make the best Avenger (legacy heroes like Bucky Cap excluded)?

Dani Moonstar.

9. What would be your ideal seven-member Justice League team?

Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash (Wally), Green Arrow (Ollie), Black Canary

10. Who is the coolest non-Batman member of the original Outsiders?

Geo-Force.

1. Excluding Zatanna and the Scarlet WItch: Four Leaguers (Superman, GL, Hawkman and Batman). Every Avenger that ever was a member, and they'd still lose.

2. Batman is the best at anything he puts his mind to...

3. Cyborg. I have an old refridgerator they could take apart together.

5. Hank McCoy or Slim Summers.

7. Composite Superman

8. Hyperion or the Skrullian Skymaster

9. Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, Aquaman, Hal Jordan, Ray Palmer. They are, by definition, the Justice League.
