Those sketches on ComicArtFans are great!! particularly the rarer, non-Marvel ones… Constantine is brilliant!! and Lobster Johnson… and Red Sonja… and the Flash…

I think I’d really like to see him tackle the Franklin Richards comics…

Chris is a great artist and if you ever see him at a con, I’d recommend you check out his booth — he’s got some great stuff and he does awesome con sketches!

Definately one of my favorite sketch artists, though I think Art Baltazar might be his main competition on the con circuit. Here are the sketches I've gotten from him, not counting the Tangent Comics version of Joker, which I got this past Sunday in Baltimore.

Excellent selection!
Chris is one of those artists that makes comics fun and just plain enjoyable. He’s one of the reasons I was reading Marvel comics, just to read his Bullpen Bits.

Behind the obvious cute-factor of seeing our beloved icons as kids, Chris Giarusso has an absolutely gifted sense of comic timing that makes Mini Marvels such a fun and worthwhile read. I have entire pages memorized, and yet when I read them again, I still laugh.

If you ever see Giarusso at a con, get a sketch.

*Great* stuff.

*sigh* I’ve got the first one-shot pictured above but didn’t know about the 2nd. Ah, well, that allows me to rationalize picking up the digest collection, which I was on the fence about because i figured I already had most everything compiled therein.

Wish Marvel would give him a full-length ongoing, a la DC’s TINY TITANS (ditto for Colleen Coover), but if I have no idea of whether he wants such a gig or not.
