Check out the following Mid-Ohio Con posters by John Byrne and Chris Giarrusso (after Byrne).
They're awesome!

I especially love Daredevil not knowing which way to face on Giarrusso's poster!

Man, both of those are great. I especially like Byrne's Cyclops, he actually makes that costume look better than even Cassaday did. Good catch on the Daredevil thing.

I am not a fan of Byrne's art, at all, and this poster is no exception. The Giarrusso one is terrific though. I love how adorable he makes Wolverine's tough-guy stance.

There's something "off" about Cap & Wolverine in the Byrne poster. Logan is standing in front of Cap's shield, but his feet are placed behind Cap's feet.

Yeah, Byrne's obviously went through a lot of computer editing in the composition.

I noticed the Daredevil gag in Mini-Marvels: Rock, Paper, Scissors Digest also .. it's a cute joke . Also Giarrusso's toothy grin Iron Fist is rad !

The Byrne one is pretty good, I wish the con was a little closer so I could go.

I don´t know, the byrne poster looks odd....looks like fanart done by a byrne´s fan. And look at Thor, what is up with him??

Does anyone else think that Byrne's Iron Man has fallen asleep in his armor?

Fallen asleep while being squished into a 2 dimensional being! He's so flat looking!

I love that Chris' Daredevil is facing the wrong way....so wrong, but so funny

Awww...look at how tiny Wolverine looks. Who's a tiny Wolverine? Who's a tiny Wolverine??

Yeah, that's bugging the hell out of me. It's like some kind of optical illusion.
Note that Giarrusso cleared up the confusion in his version by moving Cap back a touch.

There are 2 oddities in Byrnes poster:
On Cap/Wolverine, it looks like Cap is angled with his left foot ahead and his right arm trailing back, so that he is partially behind Wolverine (think of the way a Doo Wop group would have all the back-up singers standing at an angle to the audience). But because there is such a large difference in the angles of their stance, it looks odd. But I think what he was going for was an open and friendly Cap with a much more defensive and secretive Wolverine, judging by stances and body language.
The other issue is that we have gotten so used to the over the top physiques of comic book characters, that more conservatively proportioned characters now look odd to us. Byrne's characters are firmly within the realm of human posibility (ignoring the fact that they are superheroes).
Cap, Wolverine, and Hawkeye are suitably muscular, but no more so than an Olympic gymnast, while DD, Spidey, and Iron Fist look much more lithe, and Doctor Strange and Reed Richards look like normal guys. Black Widow, Spider Woman, and Shulkie are all suitably voluptuous, none look like they went to the plastic surgeon and said, "Gimme the biggest rack you got," or appear to be destined for future back problems.

Byrne-Cyclops is staring directly at Byrne-She-Hulk's breasts. He looks like he's about to zap them.

i think he's planning to zap the fabric off to get a better look.

Will Byrne ever get tired of drawing Spider-Man in that pose? I've sure gotten tired of seein' it.

haha! As if Byrne would give up re-using the same old poses! or facial expressions! or faces! or bodies!

Since everyone is nitpicking, isn't it kind of odd that Cyclops and Iron Man are in more recent costumes while everyone else looks like they're from Byrne's heyday?
And I'm not the biggest Byrne follower so I'm sure this isn't the first time but I can't recall him ever drawing The Punisher before.

Honestly Byrne's Punisher there could just be Byrne's "grim, grouchy Superman" with a different hairdo.

I think most anyone who has been in the business long enough is guilty of this. I think George Perez is probably the only person that varies his faces from character to character. Kirby's great but even he is guilty of this. How many mouth open, palms outstretched poses has he done?

I can't stand Kirby's infantile art either.

Some lovely li'l sight gags there in the ChrisG picture. The DD one is a cracker, but I love his surly li'l Punisher.

I didn't notice anyone saying that the characters weren't muscular enough. I don't think that is related to the oddness of Byrne's picture at all. It's just that it looks like he composed it in MS Paint and many of the characters look flat, like cardboard cut-outs.

I still have a lot of love for Byrne's interpretation of Shulkie.

Um...
I really think Byrne's is just a Photoshop compilation of separate sketches... Iron Man really looks slapped on top as an afterthought...
Is it possible that this was just a reference for Chris G?
Byrne (much as I may dislike what he hid to Doom Patrol, etc.) can draw really well, but his poster does not look well-composited at all...

I don't understand Cyclops's fascination with She Hulk's breasts. Maybe they are developing telepathic abilities.

Thor really, really likes Captain America in Byrne's poster. I think Punisher is jealous.

I'm pretty sure Cap is trying to push Wolverine over.
Also notice how Cyclops's gaze changes between pictures to keep him staring at Shulkie.
