I suppose you’ll get to the more recent ones as time goes by. I’m thinking of Scarfe, Trudeau, Brodner, and Toles. People today haven’t changed that much since Nast’s time. They don’t read the articles, but they can all figure out a cartoon.
There will always be a place for political illustration.

Daumier is simply one of the best artists of all time. His story telling ability and narrative are second to none. His work is truly a visual inspiration to Will Eisner.
