Speaking of returns… Larry Stroman returned to X-Factor with # 33, and man, his inker bloooooooows. Also, it seems like all the background character’s bottom halves are 8x larger than their tops.

I love Howard Porter’s artwork. I followed JLA through the trades and while it took a little bit to get used to his style, it really grew on me and I adored his runs on the Flash and Shazam. Decisions wasn’t the most complex title (it mostly seemed to be “this hero’s conservative, this one’s liberal…”) but his art looked great. I’m looking forward to seeing him on Titans.

JLA #5 was my first ever Morrison comic, so I’ve got a lot of love for Howard Porter. I think he’s a much, much better artist than he’s often given credit for. That was a great interview, too.

Nice to have Howard back. While people like his JLA run with Morrison, I don’t think it’s his best work. I mean, it’s fine but his run on The Ray is a bit more crisper and more eye pleasing. Like Nitz said, he’s a fantastic storyteller. That’s the most important part.

Wonderful news. His stuff on Morrison’s JLA was great in and of itself, and his more recent work ( particularly, his work with Waid on Fantastic Four ) has shown dramatic improvement, ditching the stereotypically 90′s aspects of his early stuff in favor of genuinely great storytelling. I’m glad that his injury is healing and hope to see more of his work.

wow..I knew he had sliced his hand up pretty bad a while back, but Im shocked that he is just now able to return to work. Didnt know it was so severe. Glad to see him back though.
