I read it for the first time only about a year ago & was EXTREMELY impressed. I place it several notches above WATCHMEN, though I admit I might be biased a bit by what I find as a very agreeable political view.

I read this whole stupid comic, and not ONCE did V take off his mask to show the lizard alien underneath. There wasn't even an attempt to cross over with the miniseries. Alan Moore is a terrible novelization writer.

I wouldn't say V beats Watchmen, but it does beat most everything else. The movie's good too, though for almost entirely different reasons.

V is so adorable, on top of his many other traits. Look how proud he is of his little explosion!

Yhe only one better thing that the Guy Fawkes mask in the second best Alan Moore graphic novel is the totally hardcore sofisticate and very literate porn in Lost Girls!
