According to wikipedia, Lawton's armor saves him. I haven't read the Smith series as his Daredevil run made me hesitant to see how he handled Batman.

Hey! Someone else is reading Storming Paradise! Which is good because without you noting it today, how the hell would I know why I don't have issue 5? Last month I went into the comic shop and they didn't have the issue 4 and could. not. tell. me. why. But they said they'd have it this month. Okay, a month is a long wait, but I'm really digging this series and I can pick up 4 and 5 together. I go into the shop yesterday because I'm in the neighborhood and pick up the last copy of issue 4, as I did with issue 3. But I'm kind of ticked that now my comic shop doesn't have issue 5 too! They can't tell me why or when. I'm glad you mentioned it because I was wondering if maybe the comic shop I have to go to just sucks. Now I know the issue was late all over. But it's a good series. I really dug Team Zero by Dixon and Mahnke too. Anyone out there looking for a good war comic or action comic, get on Amazon and order it. It's one of my favorite series in a few years. Butch Guice was the artist on Ultimate Origins too. Maybe that delayed him. That's just idle speculation though.

She is wearing cheetah print pants. They were part of her outfit before she started looking like a cheetah again. The outfit has is a two piece with a halter top with enough room for the tail to stick out

He can't be dead! If there are going to be a bunch of writers guest-writing they need to stay in continuity.

Unless they have some cheezy 60's style plot where he magically appears alive in the next story, which will feature a backstory on his miraculous survival.

So much for collaboration.

No Final Crisis: Resist? It's essentially Rucka writing Checkmate 26 and I think you can read it just having followed Checkmate (and without really knowing the details of what's happening in Final Crisis.)

Perhaps Smith's miniseries is slightly out of continuity. Or Floyd's mask protected him. No way does Deadshot go down that easily. On the other hand, I keep wondering who Gail would bring in to fill out the roster once somebody gets booted or killed. I'm too into the box, going with old stand-bys like Savant and Giganta. What say you guys?
