I didn’t say you didn’t… I just said I can draw better than my Liliane comics might suggest, which may be a different basis on which to imagine what I could draw. … I like my Liliane art too… but it isn’t what I’d do for my illo clients …. or the Fantastic Four!

“You can’t really picture, say, a Leanne Franson or a Robert Kirby drawing the Fantastic Four”…
That is very funny! No, I couldn’t imagine myself drawing the Fantastic Four. Though if you look up my illustration career, you might discover that I draw a heck of a lot better than my “Liliane” scribbling might suggest.

I love this book! I discovered it when Fish went to Comicopia, my local store in Boston. I really relate to the book and have even bought some copies for my friends who don’t read comics. The stories are really relateable, especially (but not exclusively) to gay men.
