Funky: Cultural phenomenon. Achewood was Time Magazine’s Graphic Novel of the year last year. It’s unbelievably good.

The party itself was insanely fun. Chris was one of the coolest folks I’ve met in the industry as well. Great great times.

Wow, that’s a hell of a turn out for any creator…

but especially one I’ve never heard of…

Is this guy a cultural phenomena that I’ve managed to keep my head in the sand about, or a creator with a small but fierce fan base?

Either way, that’s gotta help shoot down some ‘people aren’t interested in comics’ theories…

the line kept going like that for several hours. It was NUTS.

I should add that Chris Onstad was an incredibly awesome guy, and stayed late to make sure he met every single person that waited. He was a champ!
