Man, I was really beginning to believe you were going to skip Love and Rockets all together. Like it wasn’t LGBT friendly enough- thank god I was wrong! Not only great storytelling, but some of the greatest comic art around. I learned SO much about drawing facial expressions just from looking at Love and Rockets.

Thanks for doing this series. It’s been great getting to learn about all these LGBT comics, most of which I had never heard of before. I’ve already order one of them, and I’m planning on picking up a few more.

Just when I though you were gonna forgot this astounding piece of art.

This has been one of the most interesting months I’ve ever seen in this blog, that just makes me feel more like an a$$ for pointing that either you have forgoten one of the most productive (and one of the firsts) artists of this “genre” (although I’m not very keen with the label) or you simply don’t think his worth of mention… Ralf KÃ¶nig.

It should mentioned though that Gilbert’s stuff also has a fair amount of LGBT characters in it. Luba’s oldest daughter Maricela love life. Isreal’s omnisexual. Poisn River took place in a transexual bar. Love and Rockets runs the gamut.
