That casting would be so wrong...but it would make more money than almost any other casting.

What I like about this strip is that even though I never ever read Strangers in Paradise or know what it's about, I was still totally able to get and enjoy this joke.

Ha!
Ahh, Megan Fox and Jessica Alba. Funny.
Seriously, Hollywood, please stay away from this property.
(Remember when a Strangers in Paradise movie/series was a possibility, with Jennifer Connelly as Francine? Because back then she wasn't rake-thin? Those were the days.)

Well, I wouldn't MIND seeing Jessica Alba casted as Francine.
But who to play Katchoo? Kate Hudson, maybe?
Or Reese Witherspoon.
Better yet, Jessica Biel. (sigh)

Do they still make actresses with enough meat to play a Francine? I guess there's a handful scrawny enough to play Katchoo.

I'd see a movie with Jessica Alba and Megan Fox playing lesbians.
I'm just saying.

One wonders whom they'd get as David to complete the trifecta.

By the by - that last panel, Brandon, is some of your best work ever.

I hate that comic anyways, so I'd be all for it.

Starring Jessica Alba and Megan Fox... and directed by Frank Miller.

"I hate that comic anyways, so I’d be all for it."
I'm of this mind, too. It would be funny to watch people get all bent out of shape about it. And then doubly funny to see the reactions from people who liked the movie, then sought the comic.

I liked when Warren Ellis was writing Hellblazer, Constantine got announced, so Ellis tried to convince people in an interview that Keanu Reeves was actually a good actor... that made me laugh.

True that. This is some of the best character artwork in the series yet. There's a lot of range from panel 1 to panel 6, and I think Brandon nailed them all.

Ha! The look of terror in her eyes in the last panel is perfect. Well done.

The art is definitely solid in this strip, as is the writing. I haven't read Strangers in Paradise, but I can understand the dread of seeing anyone current in Hollywood making a movie out of a beloved property. (Heck, I still hope and pray Ender's Game never actually gets made.)

Hahahahahahahahaha! Freaking good! And definitely Jessica Alba is the stuff of nightmare. She killed the Sue Storm franchise.
