Forever Young

So it's come to this...FOUR years worth of Comics Should Be Good! Four years ago today, this little site was started up by Alex, Joe, two Pauls, Tadhg and myself (with a super cool name picked out by Joe). Thanks guys, for starting this place up with me!

Thanks to all of our regular folks - our two Gregs (Burgas and Hatcher), Brad Curran, Bill Reed, MarkAndrew, Danielle Leigh (how awesome has Danielle been, folks?) and our newest contributor, Scott (who has somehow been here for three months already!). Plus 2 and 3, and our mascot, good ol' 1!

And I can't forget to mention the the contributions of Alex, Joe, Pól, Paul McEnery, Tadhg, Tom, Chad, Christopher, Harvey, Kethylia's Manga Mondays and Marionette.

Not to mention Brandon and Sean's Comic Critics, John Seavey's Storytelling Engines and Lorendiac's Lists.

Thanks to Jonah for hosting the blog at Comic Book Resources and to Stephen for keeping up with all our tech stuff.

Thanks, also, to all those folks who come by to read our ramblings.

Thanks to the sites that link to us.

And thanks to anyone else that I forgot to thank!

These past four years have been a blast, and I hope...okay, I'm pretty darn certain that the fun will not stop any time soon.

Congratulations, folks!

It feels like longer (but in a good way!) Can't believe that there actually was a time BEFORE CSBG...

Keep on the good work, being THE BEST COMIC BLOG ON THE INTERWEB...

Here's to many, many more years...

Cheers,

Tim

*blush* Aww Geez. (Yup, it's official -- I've turned into a true midwesterner).

Happy Birthday to Comics Should Be Good (which, my god, wouldn't exist without you as the hardest working engine ever!) and my boyfriend. Dec 10th is a very momentous day!

Thanks to MarkAndrew for bringing me into the fold, all the guys for welcoming me so warmly and Brian for taking a chance on an unknown! This has been a lot of fun being here and I've really learned a lot about American comics and will probably learn a metric ton more over the next year as well.

You guys aren't thinking of abandoning us in our times of need for plain ol' gossip?!?

Stick around forever and a day, eh?

;-)

"Thanks, also, to all those folks who come by to read our ramblings."

You're welcome.

Congratulations on the four-year anniversary and for being the best group comic book blog for fun and positivity. Keep up the good work.

So when do we start buying the blog so many shots that it ends up going home with something regrettable like a Peter David fansite or newsarama or something?

I can just picture it...

CSBG opens bleary eyes.... "Whoah... okay, Traffic cone, fair enough, it was a heavy night... But where on earth did I get 10 copies of X-Force #1 from!?!??!"

Congrats guys!

You really are the best comics blog out there. If it weren't for you guys, I'd probably have given up comics altogether years ago. Your fresh approach to looking at comics really helped make me more critical and discerning. My only complaint is that I wish you'd do more reviews. Your weekly reviews were great. I love Burgas' reviews but yours were good too.

Congratulations folks!

Congrats guys. And long may you continue.

Happy birthday-slash-anniversary!

Wow. I can't believe how fast that's gone by. You guys are about the only online comics discussion I engage in anymore.

I second the call for a return to reviews by Brian!

You people are GOOD PEOPLE. I'm new to this internet tendency and none of you beat me up, even though I'm new here and you're all the Wallet Inspectors.

So Happy Birthday, Good People! Happy Anniversary, Good People! Thanks for not beating me up!

Alright! An excuse reason to get good and drunk! Hurrah!

Only here could I be considered a "regular" folk.

I just did a Happy Hooligan review the other day!

Thanks for the great posts. This site is definately one of my favorite places to learn about older comics that aren't well known.

Congrats, guys!

Happy anniversary! Thank you Brian and everyone else, for providing such a great site!

Congrats! I enjoy both the writers and commentors here - this is a fun place to read about/discuss comics.
