Also, that recap of the Zoom/Flash fight really showcases how stupid that whole storyline is. Had Johns not come up with a happy ending I would have likely burned the entire stack of Flash tpbs he'd written. It's one thing to write lame storylines that relate to torturing the heroes (that seems to have become so popular with DC lately), but it's a whole other level of insanity that writes it into the key motivation of the villain.

You should do a "Top five covers where another hero rips off Iron Man's head (or otherwise abuses him)". It's become quite a popular motif in the last few year.

The Titans met Grant Wilson (who was just some dude at the time) in the first issue, the one where they formed, and unknowingly pissed him off, so he asks the HIVE to help him kill them at the very end of the issue... ...But by the second issue they've changed their mind and ask his father Deathstroke to do it. Deathstroke turns them down. They give Grant superpowers instead, name him "The Ravager" and send him after the Titans. Deathstroke realizes that the process will kill Grant and goes to the fight just to get Grant back, not to fight the Titans. The process kills Grant and the Titans hand over the body to Deathstroke, who leaves peacefully. At the end of the issue, however, Deathstroke reluctantly takes on the contract himself. He doesn't actually attack the Titans himself until #10. He then disappears again until #34, at which point he's already put his Terra plan into motion. The man is perhaps over-cautious. Can you tell I just re-read these?

The point is, the Ravager was created and first attacked the Titans in #2 and Deathstroke first tried to kill them in #10.
