I would think that the secret of the Moon Sphinx would be that there was a sphinx on the moon.

Um, maybe the secret of the Moon Sphinx is that it has LASER VISION?
NASA defied so much precedent in the 60s when it chose to dress its astronauts in white, rather than bright green, yellow and red.

I think we're getting the wrong impression... The spacecraft was suffering from Erectile Dysfunction... But one look from the Moon Sphinx sorted THAT out...
