Best Lettering: Let’s be honest, it was probably Todd Klein

Russ Wooton always gets robbed. But, then, Todd Klein is a master of the letterform, so it's understandable. Whoever's lettering Uncanny X-Men these days also deserves some credit for making those woeful I.D. captions look decent. Otherwise, great list, Bill.

Best Awards List Consisting of Publications & Shows Dan Has No Acquaintance with Whatsoever (well, except for Ba's work on UMBRELLA ACADEMY ... & I do at least own all of CASANOVA) -- The Billicus Awards. I will note that APOCALIPSTIX is en route to my front porch from Mile High. And that I do have a few single-issue reprints (Dark Horse &, I think, A+ Comics) of HERBIE>

I'll second Spectacular Spider-man! It's Ditkoriffic! It's Romitaizing! With all the charm of Stan Lee! The best part - NO STAN LEE. (And they credit Ditko!) Plus, it's got a nice continued story-line and hello? The Black Cat episode? The Sinister Six episode? I've only seen bits of B&B and believe me, I was a HUGE fan of the comic, back in the day. It's not on in Canada, far as I know. YouTube is as far as I've seen, unless you chaps have some links for a poor techno-stupid old man ... And you only notice lettering when it's bad. Best Letterer is like an award for "Best Sound-Man That Didn't Get The Boom-Pole In The Shot."

I agree with Bill. Batman: B&B is BY FAR the best comic book related TV show of 2008. It's Sprangtastic. Spectacular Spider-Man is okay.

hmm..I think I'll disagree with MI-13. I think it started strong, but now it's dragging. I'd go with either Hercules (if it qualifies) or Guardians of the Galaxy.
